Privacy

Short version: this blog does not track you

Privacy policy

Last updated: October 2026.

What this site collects

Nothing about you personally. Lara's Travel Diary is a static, read-only blog: there are no accounts, no comments, no newsletter and no forms that store your data.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies and uses no third-party analytics, advertising pixels or social media tracking scripts. The buttons in the footer are plain links to my profiles on Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest: nothing is loaded from those networks until you click them, and what they do once you are there is governed by their own privacy policies.

Server logs

Like every web server, mine keeps standard access logs (requested page, time, browser type, IP address) for security and to count visits. These logs are kept for a limited time and are only used in aggregate form with the IP addresses anonymised. They are never sold or shared.

Search

What you type in the search box is used only to find matching pages and is not stored beyond the server logs described above.

Email

If you write to me, your message and address are used only to reply to you.

Social media publishing

I publish my own articles to my own Facebook Page, Instagram and Pinterest accounts, using the official APIs of those services. This only concerns my content: no data about readers of this site is sent to those services.

Links to hotels, restaurants and places

Everything written here reflects my personal, paid-for experiences. There are no affiliate links, sponsorships or paid reviews.
