The long story short
Why
Anytime I want to start a new vacation i have to start a little fight against the Leisure industry. I mean, there is not nothing around you can use to reserve your holidays which is fast, intuitive, easy and targeted on luxury experiences around Europe.
Everytime I have to spend a lot of time trying to select the next destinations, to understand if a 5 star hotel gives a real 5 star experience or not, if a restaurant is worth a visit regardless of Michelin or Gault & Millau or other evaluations.
I won't speak about online reviews, that's the worst thing you'd do to choose a luxury experience. I saw reviews on Tripadvisor, Google, etc that are obviously paid, other reviews that are obviously done by someone who can't even figure out what a Michelin star implies, or someone who gave 1 star rating to a wonderful Hotel saying "They wanted to park my car, but no, I did not gave them the key, they'd stole it! Stay away!" and other incredible stories wrote by standard humans......
So... Here I am, trying to group my experiences over the years, simply to share my thoughts, hoping that they'd be useful to some anonymous traveler willing to have a real luxury experience.
Who am I
I am a nerd who like to visit a lot of places, trying to enjoy my time at its best. Sadly i am now a bit aged, that does not mean elderly nor ancient, but either young nor junior.....
Usually i have from 30 to 60 days of vacation going around Europe in the best locations per year, and spending the rest eating well, at home or at a restaurant.
How I did
This site has been 100% coded in CLI on Unix, using VI as an editor for code and pages.
I know that's pretty nerd, but, hey, I am nerd!
