Hotel Dukes Palace

The Dukes Palace hotel is located in the ancient city, in the historical centre, just nearby the world famous canals. It has an own parking (really difficult to reach, signs are not accurate and streets are narrow). It is an old castle, and as for old castles does not have all the comforts, some rooms are hard to reach and have internal stairs for the bathroom. The Hotel is really big, we surely prefer little boutique hotels to mass tourism. Everything was very confusing. Concierge was not up to par, and no car valet service was available. We have not been able to check the spa either. Moreover the room service was quite poor, no evening shift, no changes during the day. In a photo you can see how we found one pajamas when got back in room........ Simply terrible. A positive note: Belgian chocolate is delicious, and in the breakfast there were tons. But also tons of people with the confusion always in our ears. Bruges (or Brugge in flemish), is a wonderful location, worth to be seen, but next time we will try another facility.
