The Ilario Vinciguerra restaurant held a Michelin star until 2018; we visited in 2019, by which time it had been "downgraded" to a two-fork rating in the Michelin guide.
Today, it no longer appears in the Michelin guide at all, though Gambero Rosso, the Italian restaurant guide, awards it 88 out of 100 points.
The courses that required "opening" or "unwrapping" were quite interesting; all in all, it was a dinner that lived up to the name, though perhaps the pricing was a bit high. Ilario Vinciguerra
