Osteria del Castellazzo is located in the historic center of Salsomaggiore, housed in a charming, well-maintained period building. The town itself is beautiful and popular with tourists, home to the magnificent Palazzo Berzieri—the site of the historic thermal baths. Upon entering, you are immediately struck by a rustic, welcoming, and friendly atmosphere—a vibe perfectly cultivated by the owners. The cuisine is reminiscent of home cooking, yet features refined dishes that remain accessible. It strikes a perfect balance between culinary exploration and tradition. We had a wonderful time and will certainly return whenever the opportunity arises.
