Tombolo Talasso Resort

The Tombolo Talasso Resort is a 5-star hotel located right on the beach in Marina di Castagneto Carducci, Tuscany, Italy. It’s a must-visit for us; whenever we travel toward southern Italy along the coast, we stop here to enjoy some relaxation in their incredible spa, which is set within caves—the hotel’s true highlight. The property often hosts conferences and events, even out of season, which can make the spa a bit crowded at times. We’ve never visited during the summer, we prefer traveling when it’s less busy, so I can’t say how crowded it might get during the peak season. As for the services, they are generally in line with a 5-star standard—concierge, valet parking, etc. though the rooms and the property itself could be improved. But with a spa like this and the sea just a few meters away, those are only minor details.
