Iriarte Jauregia Hotel

Hotel Iriarte Jauregia is a 4-star hotel nestled in the Basque countryside. The breathtaking scenery along the road from San Sebastián toward the inland hills—where the hotel is located—serves as a mere prelude to the enchanting views, tranquility, and relaxation that await at the property itself. To reach the hotel, you travel along a small country lane that takes you through a tiny, old-fashioned village. We have already returned twice—drawn by the spacious, elegant rooms, the relaxing atmosphere, and the hotel’s own restaurant, Bailara. The latter is recognized by the Michelin Guide, and I have written a separate review for it here on my blog. You are sure to love this place; and while the Basque language may be "challenging," rest assured that the staff speaks both Spanish and English.
