The S. Gião restaurant is located a few kilometers from Guimarães and offers a lovely view from inside. It serves exclusively Portuguese cuisine—featuring bold flavors that we aren't quite used to. However, we enjoy taking an interest in the customs—especially the culinary traditions—of the places we visit. We had a great time, even though the salt cod was truly intense! :) S. Gião
