We decided to try the local cuisine. Yes, we know that probably Flanders are not known for their international nor famous cuisine. But we usually want to experience the taste of the places we visit, the flavors that blend with the land and the smells, the local experience. So we had a dinner at Refter, a Michelin restaurant located in the old city of Bruges. The table was very little, like a French Bistrot. Service was quite slow and not pretty accurate, as it was very crowded on Saturday evening. The food was good despite not appearing to be exactly Michelin standard. Probably we won't go again, but it's worth a visit to taste the real Flemish cuisine.
