Ristorante I Rodella

During a trip through central Italy, we decided to stop for a meal at the I Rodella restaurant, near the city of Perugia. We also took the opportunity to stay overnight in one of the country house’s rooms—small, but comfortable. The swimming pool and spa are also truly lovely. As for the restaurant, we had an excellent dinner. The cuisine and service have a warm, family-run feel, yet are of an exceptionally high standard. The owners are incredibly kind and professional, and the setting itself is truly beautiful. The only slight drawback is the proximity to the expressway, which introduces some noise—a pity, given that this is an otherwise sophisticated, elegant country house in the Umbrian countryside, offering top-tier cuisine.
