Park Hotel

The Park Hotel in Zug is a 4-star superior hotel that offers an uncovered, outdoor parking area. Like many establishments in German-speaking Switzerland, the staff does not quite meet international standards; the reception closes in the evening/at night, and if you arrive during those hours, you must check in at a sister property: the 4-star City Garden Hotel—located a few hundred meters away. All the rooms are the same and the decor left us a bit puzzled. Unfortunately, we were in a rush and couldn't get a better photo of the room, but having a sink right in front of the bed, paired with a rather peculiar mirror, is, to say the least, quite curious. The breakfast was not the best, though in German-speaking Switzerland we rarely expect anything exceptional, so it was fairly typical for the region. Honestly, I wouldn't classify it as a 4-star superior hotel. It is better described as a business stopover in a business-oriented city like Zug. We certainly won't be returning for a vacation.
