L'Esquisse

L'Esquisse in Colmar is a modern 5-star hotel located just outside the historic center of Colmar, in the Alsace region of France, home to the famous "Petite Venise" (Little Venice). The hotel houses a 2-Michelin-starred restaurant; however, we haven’t had the chance to dine there during our stays, as it requires booking well in advance; and since we tend to travel quite spontaneously, we usually decide where to stop at the very last minute. The rooms are modern, spacious, and well-appointed. The spa is excellent, a true haven for relaxation, and both the bar and the breakfast service are top-tier. With a valet parking service and a private covered parking garage, it is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to spend a few days in Colmar, whether to explore "Little Venice" (easily accessible on foot) or to take a short excursion to Riquewihr, the village that inspired the setting for Disney’s "Beauty and the Beast". The concierge service is also exceptional and ready to assist with any need you might have. Colmar is a beautiful town, and L'Esquisse has become a regular stop for us whenever we are in the area.
