Hotel MarinaPlace Resort & Spa, Genoa, Italy. A wonderful marina.

We stayed at MarinaPlace in Genoa, Italy, for one night. The marina is enchanting—the opening photo shows the view from our room!
The hotel is located on the docks of a massive marina, filled with dream yachts and countless other boats. It’s less than a kilometer from the C. Colombo Airport and the Genoa-Airport motorway exit, making it very easy to reach—though less convenient for visiting the city center, as it’s situated in the western suburbs.
Despite the name, it doesn't really feel like a "resort." It’s a solid 4-star hotel; our room, which even featured an in-suite Turkish bath, was pleasant and spacious, though the decor wasn't exactly high-end.
We were also quite surprised to find the minibar virtually empty. When we asked for a Coca-Cola at 11:00 PM, the receptionist suggested we walk over to another building where there was a bar...
Overall, it’s a nice spot in a truly charming setting, but the service isn't exactly "luxury," and the location is inconvenient for reaching the city center. Hotel MarinaPlace Resort & Spa
