Château Le Prieuré

Hotel Château Le Prieuré, located in Chênehutte-Trèves-Cunault in the Pays de la Loire region, is a former convent that has been renovated and transformed into a 4-star hotel. It also features a restaurant listed in the Michelin Guide; you can find a review of it in the "Restaurants" section. The location is truly exceptional, offering a privileged view right across from the Loire River. The château itself is beautiful in every respect, distinctive and highly refined, with rooms that reflect this same style. Unfortunately, as it is a centuries-old building, there are no elevators or air conditioning, so be sure to choose a time for your stay when the weather isn't too hot. Furthermore, the unique spiral staircases leading to the rooms can be quite challenging when carrying luggage. Our visit took place during an exceptionally hot spell, which meant we didn't enjoy the experience as much as we would have liked. We will likely return in the spring or autumn.
